Safari operators have many ways in which they sell a tour to Kruger Park. We only focus on authenticity and originality, the rest is mere confetti. We call this “the lion walks” because this safari is all about walking or driving along the game paths that this magnificent beast walks at night. Start out for 3 nights in the national park at a private lodge specialising in walking, overnight trail or guided drive safaris ending off in a private concession where privacy and game viewing come together effortlessly. This really is the best, we’ll stand by it any day!
PLAN YOUR JOURNEY
This unforgettable journey is a favourite safari with guests from all over this beautiful globe of ours and showcases just a few of our favourite experiences. It can be changed or bits used to create your own bespoke safari, either for your partner, family, group of friends or as a gift.
Days 1-3: A Serious Adventure
At a local airport, meet your experienced driver who will transfer you privately to your game lodge for the start of your safari. Transfers from Johannesburg can be arranged on request.
Depending on the makeup of your family/friends, we design this part around you. From a beautifully appointed game lodge with game drives and kids activities to trails camps specialising in walking safaris, we can deliver it all including sleep-outs on specially designed platforms. The only thing you need to bring is your safari gear and a varying degree of bravery… Are you ready?
The concession is found within the boundaries of Kruger National Park and offers some of the best game-viewing opportunities in Africa including all of the members of the Big 5.
Days 4-6: Greater Kruger Awaits
We move you to one of the best game reserves in Greater Kruger. These reserves are legendary and offer the best chance of seeing the many beautiful animals that inhabit this 4.9 million-acre wilderness. The lodges are built around what you want to experience and range from luxury lodges to small, eco-glamping camps.
In conjunction with this, you can also enjoy extras like a Panorama Route tour or some adventure activities included in the transfer. That way, you miss nothing, besides maybe your mind from all the beauty!
Day 7: We Say Cheers
After a last morning safari we will leave the reserve and head back to the airport in time for departures.
This safari can also be extended or act as an add-on to any of our other awesome safaris below.
