In many ways, Botswana is a land of two extremes… 70% of the country is dry and uninhabitable and the rest is pure paradise. This is why we call this safari “the extreme journey”, you visit two destinations that are so different, it will take your breath away. You start in the Kalahari where, besides the vegetation, there are animals there that are very unique. From there, you head to one of nature’s postcards, The Okavango Delta to visit an oasis hidden deep in the desert. Extreme in its variations, extreme in its awesomeness!

Days 1-3: Meet Africa’s Lesser-Known Characters
It is from Maun or Kasane that your safari starts. A charter flight will be waiting for you that takes you into the Kalahari.
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is a magnificent place! There are animals there that you don’t see anywhere else and it is the perfect place to go to after the delta. It is a serious adventure to go out there and look for the animals that call the Kalahari home.
With gorgeous accommodation and the chance to meet the San Bushman, this is a lesser-known area to visit, but it is something very special.
Days 4-6: Explore the Okavango Delta
Depending on the time of year, there are water camps and land-based camps which offer different activities. The delta is breathtaking! You can choose as to whether you enjoy the delta itself or move north to Savuti or “land of the elephants” as we call it. Exclusive use camps are available all over the delta for guests wanting privacy and unsurpassed game viewing. It is just another tough day in Africa out there.
Day 7: End of the Adventure
After a game drive and a relaxed breakfast, your safari sadly comes to an end. A light aircraft will be ready to take you to Maun or Kasane Airport in time for your departure.
