Hey, there really is no better meal than mom’s homemade … (you can add in whatever you want there). If you prefer self-catering, but want to still experience great game viewing, then this is the perfect option for you. We call this one zisize or “help yourselves” and for good reason, you will have access to a private guesthouse that sleeps 6 people, perfect for families or friends. We will run a full-day private safari for you into Kruger as well, just because we love our guests. Feel free to add as many days as you want to this safari as well.

This unforgettable journey is a favourite safari with guests from all over this beautiful globe of ours and showcases just a few of our favourite experiences. It can be changed or bits used to create your own bespoke safari, either for your partner, family, group of friends or as a gift.
Days 1-2: Explore Kruger Park Privately
At a local airport, meet your experienced guide who will transfer you privately to Moriti Safari Lodge, your private guest house for the safari. Transfers from Johannesburg can be arranged on request.
The lodge is located outside Kruger National Park in the small town of Hazyview. Your guide will help you collect some groceries on the way to the lodge and there is a large shopping center close by for whatever you may need while you are staying with us.
Kick back in style and enjoy your big five safari from an open safari vehicle guided by your safari guide. A Moriti game drive is different because the safari is privately guided which means you have the guide and the vehicle all to yourself.
Day 3: An adventure day designed around you
Today is a day where you decide what you would like to do and we will make it happen. Choices include:
- A private morning safari
- A morning safari walk
- A Panorama Route tour
- Various adventure activities including quad biking, rafting and a sky trail
- Elephant interaction
- Horseriding
- Animal rehabilitation center
- Boat cruise on the Blyde River (found within the third largest canyon in the world)
- Local coffee and wine tastings
Whatever you choose, we will assist you in planning your flights etc to fit in with your chosen activity/s.
