When people think of South Africa, Cape Town and Kruger Park always spring to mind immediately. This is for a good reason, these places are the business and the perfect safari duo. We call this one the African safari standard because this is the standard safari most of our guests ask for. However, you can expect much more on this safari including tailored safari lodge options and privately guided tours in Cape Town.

10 Days

Includes local flights and transfers

6 nights Kruger Park | 3 nights Cape Town

Days 1-6: Explore and Reset

At a local airport, meet your experienced driver who will transfer you privately to your game lodge to start your safari.

We move you through some of the most remote and wild areas of Greater Kruger, depending on your budget and preferences. These areas are legendary and offer the best chance of seeing the bush’s big boys and girls, including Africa’s Big 5 (lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo and elephants). The lodges are built around what you want to experience and as our guests have come to expect, luxury, comfort, service and sightings are what we are all about.

Included

En-suite luxury suite

Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Morning, afternoon & night game drives, walking safaris

Days 7-9: Unlocking ‘The Mother City’

Over the next few days, you are in for a treat! Privately guided tours by local, homegrown experts exploring the Cape Peninsula with its many highlights.

After the more ‘touristy’ things are out the way and weather dependent, you consult with your guide and decide if sampling some of South Africa’s best wines is something you feel would be a good way to spend your day or if you would like to head to Hermanus to, potentially view whales (June to December). Isn’t Africa tough!?

Included

En-suite luxury suite

Breakfast

Table Mountain, drive over Chapman’s Peak, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the old Cape Point lighthouse, Boulders Penguin Colony, whale watching, long stretches of pristine beaches, hiking, top-quality wine tasting

Day 10: The End of Epicness

After breakfast and perhaps a walk around the waterfront before your flight, it is time to board your flight and make your way home or onto your next adventure.

Please let us know if you would prefer a completely exclusive game lodge and guide in Greater Kruger Park. This safari can also be extended or act as an add-on to any of our other awesome safaris below.
